Bayou Outlook
Design Build + Exhibition Coordinator
Spring 2018
New Orleans
I was appointed the coordinator for my semester studio’s end-of-year exhibit. I worked with my classmates to produce new boards for the exhibition, which would serve not only as our final review presentation but also as a standing exhibit in the lobby of the Albert and Tina Small Center for Collaborative Design. The exhibit showcases our design-build project that semester – a shade pavilion for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service out in Bayou Sauvage, in an area heavily trafficked by crabbers and fishers. While the project got delayed before the end of the semester due to permitting issues, we finished prefabricating what we could off-site and showcased our work in an exhibition setting instead. Above you will find some of the pieces of the exhibition, as well as the official project description.
