Racism in Real Estate

Public Interest Design Fellowship

Summer 2019

New Orleans

This graphic design advocacy campaign focused on racist real estate policies throughout history and how they still affect the built environment today. Each student in the Public Interest Design Fellowship at the Albert and Tina Small Center for Collaborative Design chose two policies throughout history, then represented them on postcard-sized images. I chose to depict exclusionary zoning and Jim Crow laws.
